Outstanding pair of rare high gloss imbuia wood sling chairs by noted French designer Michel Arnoult (1922-2005). He is recognized as one of the founding fathers of the Ready-To-Assemble furniture (RTA) and the flat packaging system. These safari style chairs were part of his Alagoas Collection for Forene S.A. Moveis do Nordeste in Brazil. Rich dark wood tones paired with comfortable saddle grade stitched caramel leather slings exude elegance in his tropical modern style. Price listed is for the arm chair.
